There are several methods we use for underground utility installation. We can evaluate on-site ground/soil conditions, depth of installation, size of utility, type of utility, existing pipelines and infrastructure to determine the best option for your project. Trenching
This involves digging a trench in the ground and placing the utility lines inside before covering it with soil. It can dig deep and handle a range of utility types.
BORING
A trenchless option, boring refers to the creation of a horizontal hole underground without disturbing the surface.
CABLE PLOWING
We use a specialized machine to plow the lines into the ground. It's typically the fastest installation without the need for digging a trench but conditions must be ideal.
OPEN EXCAVATION
Excavation removes massive amounts of the earth to form a cavity in the ground, often when the the width is greater than the depth.
Trenching
Digging a trench is one of the oldest methods of underground utility installation. We believe a job well done requires leaving it the way it was found. We offer full-service trenching which includes covering up the trench, repair and replacement services and leaving the area ready for the next phase of the project.
BORING
Directional drilling, also known as horizontal directional drilling (HDD), or horizontal boring offers a safe and environmentally protective alternative to trenching when conditions are favorable. When the boring reaches its destination, a pipe, line, or conduit is pulled back through the hole while minimizing physical damage to the area above ground.

We are an underground fiber optic and telecom cable plowing installer. We partner with Iowa carriers to install communication pathways for homes, businesses, government facilities and more to bring the best services to the customers of these Iowa carriers.
